Overview
Tiny Cards: First Words is designed for children to use with a parent or caregiver. The app does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not include third-party advertising or tracking. PQD Apps does not receive personal information through normal use of the app.
Information stored on your device
The app stores preferences and parent-control information locally on your device, including the selected language, autoplay choice, learning-mode settings, session-limit information, and a protected Parent PIN. This information is used only to provide the features you choose and is not sent to PQD Apps.
Microphone and parent voice recordings
With a parent’s permission, the app uses the microphone to record custom pronunciations. These audio recordings are stored locally on the device and used only to play the parent’s chosen pronunciation for the matching flashcard and language. PQD Apps does not upload or receive these recordings. Microphone access can be changed in iOS Settings.
In-app purchases
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. PQD Apps does not receive or store payment-card details. The app receives purchase and entitlement information from Apple as needed to unlock purchased content and restore purchases. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.
No advertising, analytics, or accounts
Tiny Cards: First Words does not use advertising SDKs, does not use third-party analytics, and does not create user profiles or accounts. The app does not ask a child to provide a name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or other personal details.
Support communications
If a parent or caregiver contacts PQD Apps by email, we receive the email address and any information included in the message. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain reasonable support records. Please do not send a child’s personal information or include sensitive information in a support request.
Retention and deletion
App preferences, Parent PIN information, and voice recordings remain on the device until they are changed or deleted in the app, or the app is removed. Support emails are kept only as reasonably needed to respond and maintain operational records. A parent or caregiver may ask us to delete support correspondence we hold by emailing pqdapps@gmail.com. Apple controls retention of App Store purchase records.
Children’s privacy
The app is built for young learners but is designed not to collect personal information from children. Parent-facing controls and purchase actions are intended for an adult. If you believe a child has sent personal information to PQD Apps in a support message, contact us so we can delete it.
Changes and contact
